The brewery moved to a new home across the road from the previous industrial complex. In addition to increased floor space, there is also a beer hall called The Lucky Stone Pub.

New Holland Brewing

The Fairbanks production facility is now closed. A new, larger facility is located across town in an industrial complex. Tours on Saturday at noon, 2 pm and 4 pm. The brewpub on 8th St. continues to be open Monday - Saturday.

NHB has developed a popular high gravity series. 2008 changes to Michigan's Liquor Control Laws allowed NHB to obtain a small distillers license so their distilled spirits can be distributed for sale at retail locations. Annual production is about 10,000 barrels.

Short's Brewing Company

Now also brewing and bottling in Elk Rapids too. The first cases, with 12-ounce bottles of Huma-Lupa-Licious IPA, Bellaire Brown and Pandemonium Pale Ale, hit store shelves at the beginning of March.

Right Brain Brewery

This microbrewery opened on November 30, 2007 in the area known as the Warehouse District of Traverse City. Owner Russ Springsteen has 12 beers on tap. Hours: Mon. - Thurs. noon - 10 p.m.; Fri. - Sat. noon - midnight; closed Sunday.

The Round Barn Winery, Distillery and Brewery

Status: Open

Round Barn obtained a microbrewery license in 2005 primarily to offer guests at their catering facilities a choice of a beer at events. They have since expanded their operation.

Jolly Pumpkin Old Mission

Located behind the historic Bower's Harbor Inn on the Mission Peninsula, JPOM is a venture of Northern United Brewing, LLC which includes Jon Carlson and Greg Lobdell (North Peak Brewing and Grizzly Peak Brewing) in addition to Ron Jeffries, founder and brewmaster at Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales in Dexter. The beer is available at the restaurant.
